Polyester synthetic fibers are characterized by being stiff and shiny as the yarn is. Many processing methods have been developed to create a feeling similar to that of natural fibers. ITY (Improved Thin & Thick Yarn) is processed by twisting threads that shrink well with ones that do not shrink well so that the texture of the surface is close to that of natural fibers.
